Group Week Documentation:
Results of your group’s research and presentation are to be written with sources footnoted; 500-1000 words per text or sub-topic for the week and any relevant images. These will be archived into the course website; be sure to turn in a text that is coherent in its discussion of the topic and well-formulated.
Due November 18: Send to me as a doc via email please.
Final Paper:
Your principle work output for the semester will be one final paper, the focus of which is synthetic and interpretive of the reading content. You may propose any topic, but it should be narrowly defined so that you can form a precise argument rooted in specific ideas from this semester’s readings and case works. The paper should refer to concepts in the readings through direct citations and further research as necessary.
Due December 3: At this class, you will verbally present and also turn in a written proposal for your paper. The proposal is to contain a 1 paragraph abstract, 1 page outline with primary bibliography.
You will present for 5 minutes the content and argument of the proposed paper, and solicit feedback from the class.
December 17: Final Paper, approximately 6000 words in length (double spaced) plus footnotes and bibliography, correctly formatted (MLA format preferred) and due to me as a doc via email.
