New Affiliate Faculty

Albert Chao
Gabrielle Printz

CAST is pleased to introduce two new affiliated faculty for the Fall 2020 semester.

Albert Chao is an artist, architect, and tinkerer. His projects range from temporary installations to mixed-use towers with an ongoing interest in understanding the place of the individual within larger systems and networks. His collaborative work has been exhibited at the 2011 Detroit Design Festival and the 2012 Venice International Architecture Biennale. He is a licensed architect in New York State.

Gabrielle Printz is a researcher, writer, and designer working both in and out of architecture. Her research examines the spatial dimensions of neoliberal state-making and its attendant forms of labor, gender politics, and non/citizen subjectivities. Gabrielle is a co-founder of feminist architecture collaborative, winner of the 2019 Architectural League Prize and a past member of the GSAPP Incubator at NEW INC.
